Privacy Policy for Library Table Enhancer

Last Updated: July 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how the "Library Table Enhancer" Chrome Extension handles your data.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Library Table Enhancer is designed to run entirely locally within your web browser.

2. Local Storage

The extension uses your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) strictly to save your user interface preferences (e.g., whether you have Dark Mode or the Amazon Links toggled on or off). This data remains entirely on your personal device and is never transmitted to us, external servers, or any third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

The extension generates external search URLs (for Google, YouTube, and Amazon.in) based on the text found in your local library table. Clicking these injected links will navigate you to those respective third-party websites. Your interactions with those sites are governed by their own respective privacy policies.

4. Changes to This Policy

If our data practices change in future updates, we will update this Privacy Policy and reflect the date of the update at the top of this document.

5. Contact

For any questions, bug reports, or concerns regarding this privacy policy, please contact the developer via the support tab on the Chrome Web Store listing.
